Holy Shyte! You're someone who hasn't been TOLD about this one, yet you've been getting it enough to become?

217 is MAJOR for me and certain friends who are susceptible to it. That is really fascinating to me. You belong to the "217 Club". Congratulations! I always wonder what the common link is between people who get serious hits on this one.

I believe there are personal synchros, group synchros and universal synchros. The 181 may have been a personal one during a particular period you were going through. The 217, in my estimation is a group synchro. Only certain people 'get it'. An example of a universal synchro would be 11. If you look on the "most intense" thread, there's a majority of 11's for most people.

If I get caffienated and inspired enough, I'll talk about some of the theories that came up for this one. Me and an astrologer friend were so bombarded with 217's that we were feverishly attempting to figure out their meaning.

For example, one day I came up with an interesting idea: the 17th card of the Tarot deck is "The Star". So Two Seventeens could mean "Two Stars." He looked in the 217th degree of the zodiac (if I'm remembering all of this correctly--I'll check with him again) and there were twin stars, one named "Vindamayatrix" and one with an Arabic name, which I forget now.

We found out the meanings of the two names of these stars, one meant, "conundrum"--an unsolvable puzzle, and there other one meant "a vine". This was significant to the both of us, for many reasons. I won't mention anything further about this until I talk with my astrologer friend, I want to make sure I have the facts straight.
