deja vu & synchronicity?

So just wondering:

I have a lot of synchronous events occur in my life...and sometimes a LOT of deja vu. Actually I don't usually think of the deja vu part and it hadn't happened in a while...but the past couple of weeks it's happening a ton. does that happen to you guys? Do you think deja vu & synchronous events might be correlative signs in life?

what is deja vu anyways? usually i think of it as a way to know i am on the right track, like synchronicities...but wondering what you guys think?

I had heard a pretty good explanation of deja vu once that explained it as a sort of short term memory into long term memory short circut. I have never had precog deja vu, it always seemed to lag a split second, which would explain how my brain would mistake a short term sensory input as a long term memory on a feedback loop. I always enjoy the experience, it's fun to try and guess what happens next, though I'm usually wrong. I also used to get it a lot as a kid, not so much anymore. But that also might have some basis in neurological development.

i think that they're related in the sense that people that notice one, often notice the other...i consider 'standard' deja vu to be the one where both instances seem to occur within minutes of each other (a la the matrix), or the vague feeling that some particular instant has happened before but you can't put your finger on it...

when i've found myself entering a moment that i've precog dreamed, the 'moments' tend to be a LOT longer, and the sensation exponentially more intense, as the memory of the prior dream comes rushing back to fill the gaps... and if it's a heavy one i can predict exactly what will happen next, what's behind a closed door, etc...

sychronicity is more like pattern recognition, and the ability to percieve multi-dimensionally...connections that others might not see.

deja vu being more a moment of (inescapable?) fate for me, synchronicity being more of a road marker, as you said...escalating synchs can be a precursor to very strong 'awakening' type experiences...

i get the precog stuff too...but it's weird. Like I'll have precog dreams about standing in my kitchen eating a bowl of raspberries and then later the even will occur and i think "sheesh, i couldn't/didn't change that one bit!" For a while I was trying to see if I could affect the general current, not alter specific events, but more alter my path. Might have, as alots changed since I first thought about it.

Haven't thought of that in a while :) that's great to remember. I love how precog events, synchronicities , and the deja business is all interrelated. I love my magical life!

i love deja vu its like the natural next octave of magical expirience after the gateway drug of synchronicity which up there own dosage within my life the happier i react to the quantum universal interaction. i get at leaST one synch an hour and 2 deja vus per moon cycle deja vu can be amazingly intense and usually for me involve huge random bursts of kundalini energy, musical events usually pool a lot of energy for me and the deja vu is always a messenger for the possibility of interconnection and networking deja vu helps me realize what and which peoples energies i can boost and reflect in psychadelic and musical settings. synchs destroy my train of thought or amplify the good ones, while sometimes answering a question. although almost everytime i ask a question the answer pops into my mind as i am asking it. internal and external magical events seem to support echo and amplify each other eventually i beleive everything we do will be known beforehand when we stop thinking all together and only pay attention to awareness and the inner teleprompter found in the nothingness beyond mindstuff feels like cannabis but pure, and always acts as a reflection and perfection of the heart related psychic supporting mind of the observer whoever that may be, first we surprise ourselves with inner synchronization then we drop the self and all we do is surprise and synchronize others as one together. I Love the power of our mind.
